Airport Hurghada
Our experience up to now has been that arriving at or leaving from Hurghada Airport on Thursdays is a pain in the neck.
Especially Thursday afternoon there are many flights and the choas is yet bigger as on other days. If you ever have the possibility to define youir flights by yourself and not by the travel agency proposals, you better try to fly on any other day, except for Thursdays.
For my next flight f.e. with Air Berlin from Düsseldorf, I will arrive on Monday late evening, but I’ve no other possibility than returning on Thursday if I want to return to Düsseldorf.
So I’ve chosen to fly back to another Airport, in my case Cologne, which enables me to return also on Monday.
Because my son is bringing and getting me from the airport, and both Düsseldorf and Cologne are about 100 km from my howetown, I’ve no problems in switching airports.
Of course, if you leave your car at the airport, you’ve no choice.
But nowadays, leaving your car at an aiport in Germany can be very expensive.
