Marble Polishing PrimaVera
Life in El Gouna is interesting! Today we were invited to have a look on a construction site where the Company Primavera showed us how the marble floors in the El Gouna properties get their shiny appearance.
Mr. Barsum (who runs also a drinks store nearby the TokTok/Hurghada Buses in El Gouna), told us that Primavera, in which he partners, uses cultivated diamond stones that maintain the thichness and brilliance of the marble granite.
On one single disk device they first start with some rotating pads in combination with water to polish the marble.
A water vacuumcleaner removes the water so there will be no big mess in the room.
After the first polishing they use several other pads, and in between they use some powder or marble dust (company’s secret).
After the last pad is used they wipe off the rest of the water and dry it with a towel. And then you’ve got a wonderful shining marble floor.

The polishing machine itself makes no loud noise, so the disturbance is minimal, even if you want to have the floor polished (again) while already living in the premises. Primavera guarantees a month-long shine after the polishing process is completed (mostly 1 or days for a small villa).
In the Photo Album we have added a complete series Services > Impressions > Marble Polishing PrimaVera (make sure the photos are sorted by “File Name +” to see the progress in the same order like we shoot the images for this report.
