El Gouna Hotel School – Official Graduation Ceremony

On Thursday, 29th of September 2005, the Egyptian–German Hotel School Paul Rahn El Gouna, Egypt’s only hotel school under the umbrella of the Mubarak Kohl Initiative, celebrated its first official graduation ceremony and handing over of certificates to 64 graduates who successfully completed their three year dual vocational training program in the fields of kitchen, service, and housekeeping since the opening of the school in September 2002.

Each of the students received a school certificate which is officially recognized in Egypt and Germany, which does not only provide them with excellent job opportunities in the tourism industry but also permits them to enter Egyptian universities.

The graduation ceremony was attended by German Ambassador to Egypt Martin Kobler, Assistant General secretary Gen. Mohamed Ezz El Din Abd El Hadi representing the Red Sea Governorate, Mr. Samih Sawiris, Chairman Orascom Hotels and Development and Partner of the school, Mr. Gotthard Dittrich, CEO Paul RahnSchulen Germany, the school’s management as well as the students with numerous of their parents and a large number of guests.
