El Gouna Times - Red Sea

Wandering around in El Gouna this week, we noticed some remarkable publicity signs at various spots.

A new Beer Brand (called Luxor, quality Lager of Egypt) as well a new Egyptian Wine Brand (called Shahradzade) is being promoted not only in the streets of El Gouna, but also at various restaurants and cafés. Especially the slogan “Awake your Senses” is an eye catcher.

Beer & Wine: Made in El Gouna

During the festive weekend, new brands of beer and wine suddenly appeared in El Gouna. Produced at the El Gouna brewery (in the industrial estate) by EIBCO (Egyptian International Beverages Company), they come in the following varieties:

Luxor beer: special gold or classic.
Shahrazade wine: white, rosé and red.

Already present in some El Gouna outlets (e.g. Moods, Biergarten, etc) and in Hurghada, they can as well be bought from El Mohandess supermarket. Eventually, the plan is to distribute these new products in the Hurghada area, in Sharm-El-Sheikh and possibly in Cairo.
