What’s happening at the Bus Station?
Strange things happen at the Bus Station in El Gouna Downtown…
Since last Friday white marker lines on the bus station square indicate that construction works will start here soon.
However, we were not yet able to find out what’s going on. Some rumours estimate that new shops will be build across the square.
Our estimation that a new bus station layout is being planned could not be confirmed by the El Gouna Info Center; they haven’t got any information either.
El Gouna Times will follow up this item and inform you as soon as we get an official confirmation from Orascom OHD.
UPDATE: since Monday, November 21th, 2005 the bus station has been moved to the parkinglot across the MISR bank. Fences have been erected which will prevent any traffic on the triangle between bus station, TokTok office and Hurghada Bus Ticket Center.
