Hamza Selim - New El Gouna Vice President & Managing Director
Starting from the 5th of January 2006, Mr. Hamza Selim will be the new El Gouna Vice President & Managing Director replacing the current El Gouna Deputy General Manager, Mr. Tamer Shendidy.
Mr. Hamza Selim can look back on a 27 year long career with Hyatt International where he worked as General Manager of the Hyatt Regency in Dubai, Jeddah and - most recently - the Hyatt Regency in the Orascom owned resort Taba Heights (Sinai). Before, he had been working with Hyatt as the Regional Director of Marketing in charge of the Gulf states as well as the Area Trainer in charge of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
As far as his new position in El Gouna is concerned, Mr. Hamza Selim is “happy and excited to join the dedicated Orascom team in El Gouna.” Building on his six years experience with Orascom in Taba Heights, he is not only familiar with hotel but also resort management; Mr. Hamza Selim describes the main target of his upcoming position as “meeting clients’ needs to create an unparalleled brand standard for the destination.”
Mr. Hamza Selim was born in November 1961. He is married and has one child.
