Moods - The Strides 30-12-05
Just wanted to mention about the excellent night we had at Moods on the marina when The Strides from Australia played live here on the 30th of December. They were touring Egypt which also included gigs in Cairo and a night at the Club House downtown which unfortunately we missed.
The Strides combined both their own excellent songs with some more well know favourites from Crowded House, REM, Oasis and Wild Cherry (a blast from the past!). It was great to see such a vast mix of different nationalities dancing and enjoying the music.
Moods had created a great atmosphere by covering a section of the bar area with a colourful tent and there was an abundance of patio heaters to take the chill off the night air. The food was always very good with a vast selection of international dishes and the bar staff were very friendly.
Thanks Moods for investing in live music and as the bar was full it confirms that there is a demand for good live entertainment in El Gouna.
