Just before the old year ended, a new shop opened in the Abu Tig Marina. Marlis Seves, a lovely lady (end 40’s) from Switzerland, living already several years in West Golf, finally could realize one of her dreams for El Gouna: Bollywood.
Anybody knows that Bollywood is the indian film industry version of Hollywood, and that’s exactly where the assortment fits into: indian stylish mode.
This new boutique is the first one situated in the new erected Abu Tig Marina Building 16, next doors of the wellknown Tandoor restaurant and facing the shuttlebus stop and Maritim Restaurant.
Marlis’s boutique concentrates on originally imported Saris from India, not bound to any mode trend, being restyled in Germany and finding their way to an already increasing public in El Gouna. Besides a lot of interesting combinations of first class hand made robes and vests and dresses, Bollywood also offers accessoires like belts, shoes, jewelry and even Indian statues.
Marwa, a beautiful young Egyptian/Sudanese girl who is assistant manager at Bollywood was eager to present us several combinations during El Gouna Times interview, and it was a pleasure for us to photograph all those colourfull combinations.
Marwa showed us some combinations with such an enthousiasm, that we can only hope a lot of women in El Gouna will follow very soon. El Gouna will become yet more prettier…
